Over the last few years, Parry has been focusing
on its core businesses. The farm inputs division, which comprised
55 per cent of its turnover, has been demerged into a subsidiary,
Coromandel Fertilisers Limited (CFL). The sanitaryware division
has been spun off into a wholly-owned subsidiary, Parryware Glamourooms
Pvt Ltd. Other businesses like Netlon (now Tuflex India), general
marketing and the travel agency - Parry Travels - are part of Parry
Engineering and Exports Ltd, now re-named Parry Enterprises India
Ltd, which completes this phase of consolidation. EID Parry now
consists of the sugar and bio-products businesses.
