TI Cycles sets up BSA Go store at Thrissur

Cycles of India, part of the Chennai-based Rs 7,340-crore Murugappa
Group, has launched BSA Go, its unique bicycle and fitness equipment
store, in Thrissur.
The company said that the 3,600-square feet three-level
BSA Go store had been licensed to Chakkapai Cycle Stores at Veliyannur
in Thrissur.
This first-of-its-kind store in Kerala is a one-stop
store for all bicycling and fitness equipment requirements. BSA
Go promotes cycling as a health and lifestyle option among consumers,
it added.
According to M A Alagappan, vice-chairman, Murugappa
Group, and chairman of Tube Investments of India Ltd, "With
the changing retail landscape and consumer shopping habits, we believe
that it is necessary to re-define the bicycle shopping experience
in the country. The BSA Go stores aim to do this and also set a
new benchmark that is on par with international stores."
G Ramprasad, president, TI Cycles, said, "The
unique design and the wide product range available will set BSA
Go stores apart and make them the preferred destination for bicycles
and fitness products in Thrissur."
The BSA Go store has on display a range of BSA and
Hercules brands of bicycles. In addition to bicycles, the store
will soon be offering a wide-range of high-end fitness equipment
and accessories, the company said.
