October 19, 2006: E.I.D. Parry (India) Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs 26.31 crore (Rs 27.99 crore) on net sales of Rs 159.1 crore (Rs 209.02 crore) for the second quarter ended September 30, 2006.

According to a company release, the board has approved a proposal to merge Parry Nutraceuticals, a wholly-owned subsidiary, with the company with effect from September
