Parry Agro Net Up At Rs 31.9 cr

October 30, 2006: Parry Agro Industries Ltd has more than doubled its net profit to Rs 31.89 crore on sales of Rs 22.35 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2006.

During the corresponding period in the previous year, the company reported a net profit of Rs 14.2 crore on sales of Rs 23.86 crore. Other income was Rs 31.82 crore (Rs 14.88 crore), which includes dividend received during the quarter and is net of share of loss in a partnership firm in which the company is a partner.
