The Murugappa Group has always been close to nature. Parry Agro, a Murugappa Group company, is in the business of tea (17 million kg), coffee (400,000 kg), vanilla and natural rubber. One of its tea estates has obtained an organic tea certification and the notified organic product (NOP) certification, mandatory for organic tea exports to the USA. It has also been awarded the fair trade labeling organisation (FLO) certificate.

Organic tea, specialty tea, and coffee produced by Parry Agro have good export potential. Parry Agro exports tea and coffee to more than 10 countries.
